Getting Started

There are three things to remember when it comes to creating the perfect beer and cheese pairings:

  1. Match Intensity Levels – When creating a pairing, it’s best to match the intensity of the flavors of the cheese to the intensity of the beer.
  2. Aim to Create Pairs that Complement or Contrast – Like with any food pairing, it’s important to either complement the flavor and texture notes in the food or contrast the flavor and texture notes to create balance.
  3. Have Fun – Don’t stress out if your pairings aren’t as perfect as you had hoped. You can always crack open another can of beer and try again!
